The European Uyghur Institute (IODE) is a nonprofit organization established under the French Law, founded in January 2019 and chaired by Dilnur Reyhan. Its goals are to raise the profile of the Uyghurs throughout Europe and to nurture a generation of European Uyghurs who are aware of their culture and their contributions.

During my role as a Digital Communications Assistant, I led the online presence strategy, coordinating the distribution of press releases and digital campaigns.

I produced a promotional video and graphic materials to promote a roundtable discussion with civil society leaders on the anniversary of the French National Assembly’s recognition of the Uyghur genocide. I developed the program and graphic materials for printing and distribution to attendees. I participated in weekly follow-up meetings with the management team, proposed new projects to strengthen advocacy efforts in France, and coordinated initiatives to encourage membership and donations to the NGO.
